SPOUSE ACTIVITIES

 

 

We are in the final stages for planning these events.  If changes are made notations will be made on this page.

Betty Lou Cruise:  Monday, July 30, 2007 (11:00 am - 2:00 pm)        Cost: $30.00 per person

We will meet in the Hilton Hotel lobby and from there walk to Machinery Row, 601 Williamson Street (about 1 block).  We will board the Betty Lou yacht.  The yacht has a maximum capacity of 66 people, so it is important to reserve your space as soon as possible.  A "Captain's Table" lunch will be served consisting of:

After lunch and a two-hour cruise sight-seeing the scenes of Lake Monona we will be dropped off at Machinery Row and walk back to the Hilton Hotel lobby.

Children's Activity: Tuesday, July 31, 2007 (10:30am - 3:00 pm)        Cost: $25.00 per person

We will meet at 10:30 am in the Hilton Hotel lobby.  Your children will be chaperoned by trusted employees and volunteers of Dane County Police Departments.  Your kids will be escorted to the WI Capitol and given a 30-45 minute tour of the high points of our WI Capitol.  We will walk to the Madison Children's Museum for a 60-90 minute tour of the Madison Children's Museum.  From the Museum we will take a bus to the Dane County Henry Vilas Zoo.  While at the zoo your kids will eat a box lunch and have a special show for our group.  We will tour the zoo and take a bus ride back to the Hilton Hotel lobby and arrive at 3:00 pm (about 30 minutes after the Spouse's wine tasting is finished!).

Wine Tasting: Tuesday, July 31, 2007 (11:00 am - 2:30 pm)                Cost: $30.00

We will meet in a room to be determined (you will received notice in your delegate gift bag).  Wine Consultant Mike Renner with PRP Wine International will education the spouses on a number of different international wines and provide tasting samples for all attendees (maximum of 30 attendees allowed).  Each spouse attending with receive a bottle of wine picked out just for our group.
