Responsible for recommendation and purchase of awards given by the Association. Responsible for coordination of nominations for yearly and as needed elections.

 

Drug Enforcement

Mary Lou Risksecker, Madison Police Department

Responsible for reporting to the Association on issues related to the drug task force and the state of drug and gang activity in Dane County.

 

Emergency Management

Kathy Krusic, Dane County Emergency Management

Responsible for reporting to the Association on issues related to emergency government and the impact on the public safety of Dane County.

 

Legislative

Doug Pettit, Oregon Police Department

Responsible for tracking and reporting to the Association on legislative issues that  impacts public safety in Dane County.

 

Training

Kathy Sellnow, Madison Area Technical College

Responsible for tracking and reporting to the Association on issues related to training and training opportunities and for developing training opportunities.

 

Public Safety Communications

John Dejung, Dane County Communications Center

Responsible for tracking and reporting to the Association issues related to technology and communications that impact public safety in Dane County.

 

Audit Committee

The Audit Committee shall be comprised of the past president and an appointee of the sitting President. Responsible for an annual audit of the Association’s funds.
